Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy covers Numbers3D (the game published under that name on Google Play and the App Store, playable in the browser on this site, and available for desktop; bundle identifier com.mikepenz.numbers3d) and this website at numbers3d.mikepenz.dev.

The game collects no data. There is no account, no sign-in, no remote analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking SDKs. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us.

What stays on your device

Progress, statistics, streaks, daily results, saved runs and your settings are written to ordinary app storage on the device you play on: a preferences file on Android, the app’s own NSUserDefaults suite on iOS and macOS, the system preferences store on the desktop builds, and browser storage in the web version. None of it is transmitted. Uninstalling the app, or clearing this site’s data in your browser, deletes it.

Device backups

On Android the app opts out of Auto Backup, so its data is not copied to your Google account. On iOS and macOS, Apple’s iCloud or encrypted device backup may copy the local file into your own account so a new device restores your progress. That is a setting on your device, not something the game asks for, and the copy is held by Apple under its terms, so we cannot read it.

Notifications

The daily reminder is optional and off until you switch it on. It is scheduled locally by the operating system; there is no push server and no device token leaves the device. Android asks for the notification permission only when you switch the reminder on, and the app re-arms the reminder after a reboot (the boot permission) only while it is on.

This website

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Three parties do see something when you load a page, and none of them are us:

We do not store or have access to those providers’ logs. The game at play.html checks for updates when online; once cached, it can run offline.

The app stores

If you installed the game from a store, that store collects installation, device and crash information under its own policy, and reports aggregate figures to us as the developer. We never receive anything that identifies you. See Google Play and Apple.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

We do not store personal data about your gameplay or have access to the provider logs described above. For questions about data connected to this website, contact us at [email protected]. For data held by Google or Apple through their stores, you can also contact them directly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
